The John Atkinson Lung Cancer Foundation, named for John Atkinson, a nonsmoking father of three children and devoted husband who died of lung cancer in June of 2009 at the age of 40, strives to be an advocate on lung cancer awareness.

Goal 1: To provide scholarships to students who have lost a parent to lung cancer. Goal 2: To raise awareness of lung cancer. John handed the torch to his family. Through vision and determination, the foundation continues to give hope to those affected by lung cancer.

PINK BANDANA - LINCOLN

Each year, at the Beat Breast Cancer Mud Volleyball Tournament, Pink Bandana gives financial gifts to young women battling breast cancer. In addition we also established a scholarship to recognize outstanding high school students whose lives have been affected by breast cancer.

ROCKIN' AGAINST CANCER is a local Non-Profit organization that works to raise funds to donate to the Cancer Research Institute as well as local families battling Cancer. We also work to spread the word about immunotherapy through two annual scholarships.
