Join us every Thursday for our Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant (BMSCT) support luncheon where we offer an open group discussion – led by one of our licensed transplant social workers – for support throughout the stem cell transplant process. This group is also for patients and family members going through high-dose treatment for acute leukemia. All stem cell transplant patients, family members and caregivers are encouraged to attend at any time – before, during or after their transplant for on-going peer support.
The Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center understands that each patient is unique, and strives to make your visit comfortable and informative, taking a team approach to each patient's plan of care.
Building a better future for cancer care — that's the goal of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, a new flagship building for the Nebraska Medicine cancer network designed to house the patients, doctors and researchers who are changing the way we diagnose and treat cancer.
A joint project of Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center was designed entirely around the needs of a cancer patient to ensure the most convenient and comfortable care so patients can focus on healing and recovery.
