We have proudly provided funding to over 150 critical, cutting-edge childhood cancer research projects at top institutions globally. We are a Co-Founder of the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2) and a member of the Alliance for Childhood Cancer.

ANGELS AMONG US - OMAHA

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, a family’s life as they know it comes to an abrupt halt. Unfortunately, their monthly expenses do not. That’s where we come in. We’re Angels Among Us, and we provide financial support to families battling pediatric cancer.

Bags of Fun Omaha exists to bring joy, laughter and relief to every child fighting a life-threatening disease or condition. Our goal is to not turn away any child. We believe in the Power of Play to bring a welcome distraction during times of difficulty. It brings a child and the parents hope, relief, a smile and the ability to focus on something other than their illness.

The Brian Duensing Foundation is dedicated to providing hope and support to families battling cancer or serious illness. This is accomplished by increasing awareness and by raising funds to support in two main areas: (1) research to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment; (2) outreach projects specifically designed to ease the emotional, financial and spiritual burdens endured by families facing these diseases.

Camp CoHoLo's mission is to serve children between the ages of 6 and 17 who are impacted by cancer or blood disorders. Campers include children undergoing therapy and those who have completed treatment.

The Child Health Research Institute aims to fund and support research that advances knowledge about childhood health and diseases.

It is a collaboration between Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Our mission is to promote research in pediatric health, consolidate research in pediatric disease, and provide resources to faculty investigators.

CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL & MEDICAL CENTER FOUNDATION

The Children’s Hospital & Medical Center Foundation was established in 1983 to support the hospital, raise awareness about our work, and manage and distribute funds to its premier pediatric services and programs. Funds raised support important programs, life-saving equipment and vital research to help Children’s Hospital & Medical Center meet kids’ unique health care needs. Many of the services Children’s provides are not reimbursed, and no child in need of medical care is ever turned away for an inability to pay.

The packages include items such as arts and crafts, pajamas, toys and gift cards for essential needs. While the gifts are small in size, we know they have a big impact on the families.

Special Spaces is a Not-For-Profit 501(C)(3) organization creating dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening illnesses. We Change Lives: We create dream bedroom makeovers for dependent children ages 2-19 with documented life-threatening illnesses of cancer, heart conditions, brain tumors and organ transplants.
We Create Dream Bedrooms: We only do bedrooms. Bedrooms where children sleep, but also rest, play, and spend time away from the challenges of their illness—a place where they can heal.

Support The Kid is an all-volunteer organization whose mission is to raise and distribute funds to help children fighting cancer. Our primary focus for distribution of donations is to help fiscally needy families pay for the cost of experimental cancer treatments, resources for travel to these treatments, and any meals or lodging needed while receiving them.

Support the Kid was founded by Nicholas (The Kid) Wolber who lost his battle to cancer just over a year ago. We are dedicated to realizing Nick’s dream of helping children with cancer and defeating this insidious disease. His legacy will continue to live on through our work with children battling cancer.

TEAM JACK FOUNDATION

The Team Jack Foundation's mission is to raise money to fund impactful pediatric brain cancer research and work to create national awareness for the disease. With an overall survival rate of just around 70%, there is a lot of work that needs to be done in this area. The diseases that we as a society spend resources on ultimately see improved treatments and survival rates. It is time that pediatric brain cancer becomes a member of that community.

THE CURE STARTS NOW - NEBRASKA

The Cure Starts Now represents something truly different – a grassroots effort dedicated to, not just fighting one cancer, but the elimination of all cancers. We believe as the experts do; that in order to truly cure cancer you have to focus on: Those cancers that are immune to conventional treatments, Those cancers for which there are no treatments, Those cancers that affect children, and those cancers that are the biggest bullies. We call this the Homerun Cure.
