Hello Nebraska Cancer Community,
Being diagnosed with cancer is one of the most shattering moments you can experience in life. As a cancer survivor myself, I understand the suffering caused by this deadly disease. One of the amazing things however is all the philanthropies available to help patients along this journey.
There are nearly 80 cancer philanthropies in the state; that’s great news. Such a large number shows the absolute need, as well as the abundant heart of the people of Nebraska. This website aims to bring all of the Nebraska cancer support resources together, as well as everyone in the cancer community.
I envision NCAN as a source that doctors, nurses, social workers and the cancer community can utilize and promote when a patient gets a cancer diagnosis.
NCAN is a free resource for anyone who needs it, with The David Spence Cancer Foundation underwriting the entire project. It will cost you nothing to be part of it.
